Atelier Mediteran has unveiled the complete architectural vision for Split Waterfront Residences, a 24-unit mixed-use development that will redefine luxury living along the Adriatic. The design merges contemporary sensibilities with the vernacular traditions of Dalmatian stone construction, creating a contemporary composition that honors the region's architectural heritage while establishing a distinctly modern presence.

The building's facades employ locally-sourced limestone sourced from quarries in the Split hinterland, creating a material dialogue with surrounding structures. The western facade opens fully to the waterfront, with terraces that cascade down toward the marina level, while the eastern courtyard facade maintains a more restrained, protective character that frames the private garden and reflection pool. Expansive living spaces feature 3.8-meter floor-to-ceiling heights, allowing residents to experience uninterrupted sightlines toward Marjan Hill and the Adriatic islands beyond.

The architectural approach emphasizes transparency, materiality, and a deep respect for the site's context. A rooftop infinity pool provides 360-degree vistas, while ground-level retail and gallery spaces activate the public realm. The design process incorporated detailed engagement with the Split Heritage Authority, ensuring compliance with stringent guidelines while delivering an unmistakably contemporary architectural statement.
